Hacettepe University Hospitals Laboratories offer a wide range of clinical laboratory tests for national and international patients. Our laboratories present many specialized tests with technical capability, comprehensive expertise and timely results. We also collaborate with hospitals to enhance patient care through efficient and effective laboratory operations. We provide services with “Central Lab” and “Emergency Lab” in Hacettepe Hospitals, Sıhhiye, Ankara. Our labs consists of disciplines of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology and Metabolic Disorders tests. Our laboratory offers specific diagnostic tests for inherited metabolic diseases. In addition to routine tests, scientific research projects related to all fields of medicine are executed in our labs. We also have theoretical and practical education programs for medical school and laboratory technician school students. Furthermore, residency training programs of medical biochemistry and medical microbiology are coordinated in our labs.
Our labs provide testing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to inpatient, outpatient and outreach services. Labs are staffed by academicians, chemical engineers, biologists, chemists and lab technicians. Hacettepe University Hospitals Labs have 135 full- time employees, and 11 academic staff. The consultants are also available at weekends and holidays.
